Three doctors, a scientist and a patient have co-founded a health company built to find the cause of disease rather than manage its symptoms

HealthTruth today confirmed worldwide availability of Neo Root, the first root cause health AI. Neo reads a person's existing blood work, scores every marker against optimal ranges rather than standard reference ranges, and identifies the markers that were never ordered.
Modern medicine is organised around the symptom. A number is flagged, a medication is issued for that number, and the process that produced it is never examined. HealthTruth is built the other way around. The company exists to find what is driving a person's results and to give them the information to address it at the cause.
Neo is free to start and requires no credit card. A paid tier is $9.90 a month. The company takes no pharmaceutical funding, sells no supplements and carries no advertising.
What distinguishes the company is who built it. Three practising physicians and one of the most cited exercise scientists in the world are co-founders with equity rather than compensated endorsers. The fifth is the patient whose own case started it.
The problem
A standard blood panel is read against a reference range drawn from the population that happened to visit a laboratory. It indicates whether a value is statistically unusual. It does not indicate whether that value is optimal, what it means alongside the other markers on the page, or which markers were never measured.
Founder Mark Kaplan had a cardiac event at 52 with an LDL cholesterol of 110, a figure considered normal by every standard applied to him at the time.

What Neo does
A user uploads a lab report they already hold, as a PDF or a photograph of a printed page. Neo reads every marker on it, bands each against optimal ranges defined by the company's medical co-founders, returns a ranked order of what to address first, and names the markers that were not ordered. It retains every panel a user uploads, so results are read as a trajectory rather than a single moment.
Neo interprets data and surfaces patterns. It does not diagnose, treat or prescribe, and it is not a substitute for medical care.
One number, in a shape people already understand
Every panel a member uploads produces a HealthTruth Score, a single number from 300 to 1000.
The shape is deliberate. People already know what a credit score is, what it means when it moves, and that they are entitled to check it. Health has never had an equivalent. A person leaves an appointment with a folder of values and no way to know where they stand or whether they are improving.
The Score is built from the markers that carry the signal earliest, including fasting insulin, HOMA-IR, HbA1c, the triglyceride to HDL ratio, hs-CRP, homocysteine, blood pressure and waist to height.
